What started out as an ambitious Olympic goal is now becoming a summer reality for Parisians. A year after the 2024 Summer Games showcased open-water events in the once-polluted River Seine, the city is delivering on its legacy promise. From July 5, locals and tourists alike will be able to swim at three designated spots in the iconic river for the first time in more than a century.
