Oh, no. Whitney Purvis has been put on suicide watch inside a Georgia jail after her arrest on Monday.
As we covered, the 16 and Pregnant alum was taken into custody on Monday and charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly supplying a man named John Mark Harris with a drug called Tranq — a combination of fentanyl and xylazine — that ultimately killed him in February.

Whitney’s time in custody is already off to a rough start as law enforcement sources told TMZ on Tuesday that the MTV personality was medically designated and committed to suicide watch. Why? Apparently she made suicidal comments while behind bars. She’s also currently going through a detox as she withdraws from drug use. Oof. Sounds like she’s going through it…
Her arrest comes just over a month since her 16-year-old son Weston died from natural causes amid health challenges. Such a devastating turn of events for her…
