Joshua Blackledge’s cause of death has finally been revealed.
On March 18, the TikTok star was found dead at just 16 years old. So sad and SO incredibly young. On TikTok, the teen amassed a following of over 1.2 million, where he frequently shared videos of himself dancing, lip syncing, and working on cars. His fans were shattered.

Details were sparse at the time, with his family celebrating his life in the obituary — not discussing his passing:
“He had a passion for the outdoors and loved being around water, whether fishing or boating with friends. He also had a love for cars and trucks. At home, Joshua liked helping his mom with cooking, gardening, and yard work. He had an energetic spirit and was known for his entertaining nature, often impressing others with backflips. Joshua will be remembered by those who knew him for his enthusiasm and love for life. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.”
Now three months later, we know what happened. According to documents obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, the teenager tragically died by suicide.

No drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, but he apparently did leave behind a stuffed teddy bear, a photo, and a note. It has not been revealed what the photo depicted or what the note read. However, his family said he “exhibited behavioral changes” over the last year.
