Over two decades into his career, Paul Wall is still the People’s Champ. The 44-year-old popped out at a Gracie’s Corner kids concert in his hometown of Houston on Sunday (Aug. 17), where he performed his crunkified “Wheels on the Bus H-Town Remix,” which sent the parents in the building into a frenzy.
Footage from the show quickly went viral on social media, as Paul Wall rocked the crowd, making for a hilarious scene featuring him rapping and the cast on stage dancing along to his kid-friendly “Wheels on the Bus” rhymes.
“Let me go grab my niece and nephew and get me I mean us some tickets,” one person commented on IG. An attendee commended those who put the show together. “I think I enjoyed the show more than my baby and he had a ball,” she wrote. “Good job Gracie Team! As a producer, the execution made me so happy. Money well spent!”
It appears Paul Wall showed up as a special guest to a pair of Gracie’s Corner shows in H-Town on Sunday, as the “Grillz” rapper thanked the team for bringing him out.
“I wanna send big love and thanks to Gracie’s Corner for bringing me out for her 2 concerts in Houston, Texas today,” he wrote on X. “We had such a GREAT time! Her and her team put on an amazing show! #WheelsOnTheBus.”
It’s not the first time that Gracie’s Corner, a YouTube channel for kids, has collaborated with an artist on a track. Charlie Wilson is featured on “Have a Good Time,” which arrived earlier this year.
Big Freedia also hopped on a remix of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” for the educational programming YouTube channel, which boasts over 5.7 million subscribers.
