Russian forces advance in Ukraine but at heavy cost

As European leaders meet in Paris in a fresh bid to pressure Russia to move towards a ceasefire in Ukraine, Russian forces are continuing their advance in Ukraine’s east, gaining more territory every day. But it is coming at a heavy cost, with independent Russian sources estimate Russian casualties to be in their hundreds of thousands.
