Greenland has never been so much in the spotlight with a general election on Tuesday that will be watched carefully by the international community. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly said he wants to purchase this semi autonomous island that still has strong ties with its former colonial power Denmark. He recently said he would have it “one way or another” sparking yet more fears and concerns in Greenland. Our reporters Achraf Abid and Clovis Casali met there some of those who oppose Trump and his plans.
