The Élysée Palace has slammed a what it called a “shameful lie” about President Macron’s apparent dream of buying the iconic Aston Martin DB9, most famous for its link to the James Bond film saga. The rumours swirled after a scathing article was released by French left wing investigative media “Blast,” that claimed Macron was “desperate” to buy the €200,000 sports car and social media users – and politicians – were quick to react online.
