French President Emmanuel Macron is seeking his fifth prime minister in less than two years after opposition parties united to oust centre-right Prime Minister François Bayrou over his unpopular plans for budget tightening. Whoever Macron picks will face the difficult task of finding ways to get a budget for next year adopted with France under pressure lower a debt pile equivalent to 114% of GDP. France 24’s James Vasina has been taking a look at how French businesses and the public are dealing with the economic turmoil.
