North Korean prisoners of war in Ukraine: Why does South Korea want to take them in?

South Korea has discussed repatriating North Korean prisoners of war held in Ukraine to Seoul. The two young soldiers in question are among the more than 10,000 troops sent from Pyongyang to support Russia’s war on Ukraine, although neither Moscow nor Pyongyang officially recognises their deployment.
