Tesla’s European sales almost halved in January-February compared with the same period a year earlier – despite a jump in electric car registrations on the continent, data showed on Tuesday. Although Tesla’s ageing models have been partly blamed for the tumble, anger against the company’s CEO, billionaire-turned-Donald-Trump-aide Elon Musk, is seen as another reason for the steep drop.
