The suspect in the assassination of US conservative activist Charlie Kirk was charged with aggravated murder on Tuesday, a count that could carry the death penalty. Prosecutors said 22-year-old Tyler Robinson’s DNA was found on the rifle used to kill Kirk, adding that he told his roommate in text message exchanges that he killed the activist because he’d “had enough of his hatred”.
