Gaza’s civil defense agency reported that an Israeli airstrike on Sunday hit a house and a tent sheltering displaced people, killing at least eight, including five children, as Palestinians marked the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. The strike took place as both Hamas and Israel confirmed receiving a new truce proposal from mediators aimed at halting hostilities in Gaza during the holiday. United Nations at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs spokesperson, Olga Cherevko, joins us.
