Iran said on Friday that it would give diplomacy a “genuine” chance at talks with the US on nuclear weapons set to begin on Saturday, despite an increasingly heated war of words between Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and US President Donald Trump, who threatened to attack Iran if negotiations fail.
