The war in Sudan began almost three years ago and has since killed tens of thousands of people and displaced 13 million. The conflict between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces enters its third year today. Parts of the country have also been pushed into famine, as it remains locked in a battle between warlord-run territories.
