Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have reignited their feud online, and the former has also threatened to beat up Ice Spice in a leaked phone call.

Both Cardi and Nicki have had a long-running spat, which has recurrently flared up on social media over the past few years. Things came to a head in September 2018 when they got into a physical altercation at a Harper’s Bazaar event over alleged “lies” being spread by Minaj.

They reached a truce the following month, with them both sharing on X/Twitter that they would be keeping it “positive” going forward.

However, it looks like things have kicked off again, as the ‘Pink Friday’ rapper shared a series of posts on X, mocking Cardi’s new album ‘Am I The Drama?’ – in particular, her song ‘Magnet’.

Rewriting the first verse, Minaj changed the line “these bitches can’t fuck with me” to “SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEEE / tell the rat & tell J ZEEEEEE / Rico Fraud & PERJURY.

She then shared another tweet, saying of the pregnant rapper: “Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy / RUNNING TRAINS. Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. Meeeeee.”

It didn’t take long for Cardi to respond, quickly taking to the platform to call Nicki “nothing more annoying than a bored bitch.”

“The power I have.. make these bitches come out of rehab everytime. Go to your fuckng room,” she added, also calling the rapper, who refers to herself as Barbie, “Cocaine Barbie.”

Cardi also went on to rework the same lyrics of her song to hit back at Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty, who BBC reports is a registered sex offender.

Your man have to snatch PUSSY/ Pussy taste like honey comb/ Your bro be touching 12 year olds,” she wrote.

She then added: “Damn she was streaming ‘Magnet’ hard as hell huh??. Naaaa cuz I was really baking ribs and making blondie brownies and here come this btch bothering me on a damn Monday,” and went on to make a jab at the age difference between them both.

“Why you keep bringing up my album?? It’s not the gag that you think it is..You been in the game like 16 years.. you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time,” Cardi shared. “Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Drake…those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can’t cuz you doing lower than all of them.

“I was in high school when you came out wtf is you comparing yourself to me for???”

Referring to Minaj’s comment about her being pregnant, Cardi added: “Alright now this the third tweet talkin about my pregnancy… like you wasn’t going to different fertility doctors cuz you couldn’t reproduce from all them percs scrambling your eggs. NOT ALLEGEDLY…Lord protect my babies.”

The Independent shares that Minaj and Petty welcomed a son in 2020, and while they never shared anything about visiting a fertility doctor, the rapper did open up previously about her experience with a Percocet addiction, which developed after she was prescribed the medication for menstrual cramps.

As well as hitting out at Minaj, Cardi has also taken aim at Ice Spice too, thanks to a leaked phone call.

In the leaked audio, the ‘WAP’ rapper threatens to beat up Ice Spice, saying: “I’ma show y’all!… I’ma beat her the fuck up! I’ma knock her the fuck out! […] I’ma beat her ass.”

While it isn’t clear when the phone call took place, it is now clear that she was on the phone with Ice Spice’s manager at the time, James Rosemond Jr. – who has denied being the one to leak the call.

Cardi B took to X to call out the manager for leaking the call, and pushed for him to “post the whole 11 minute convo” if he “came to bang”.

In response, he shared: “I did not record or leak that call. You hear me on speaker w/ ur manager Tubby who called me with you on three way & u can literally hear that in the clip.

“The audio didn’t come from me. I respect private conversations & I’m not in the business of leaking anything. @iamcardib.”

Cardi B shed doubt on his claims though, writing: “James be foreal and be a man I was in my bedroom by myself… it was only you me and tubby on the call.. so you saying it was tubby??”

Cardi’s new album was given a two-star review from NME, and described as “overstuffed and underwhelming”.

“Ultimately, ‘Am I The Drama?’ is palatable enough for a one-time listen, but nothing here demands a replay,” it read. “Where ‘Invasion of Privacy’ felt fun and feel-good, its follow-up is bloated, derivative and unsure of its own identity. Cardi doesn’t just recycle her past tricks, she half-asses other people’s legacies too, and the result is a bloated, soulless shell that never finds its own voice.”
