FRANCE 24’s Jean-Emile Jammine was joined on Saturday (October 4) by Hunter McGovern, project coordinator for Doctor Without Borders, to speak about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Hunter McGovern was working on the ground overseeing MSF’s medical operations in Gaza city before the organization was forced to suspend its activities amid Israel’s latest offensive. “We are of no value if we’re dead so pulling out of Gaza City was barely an option for us, so we could regroup and then continue to provide care in the south”. In another city of Gaza, two days ago, “some of our staff were actually wounded and, one killed in a in a drone strike”, he also said. “The war needs to stop.”
