France’s political crisis deepens as Emmanuel Macron asked Sébastien Lecornu, who resigned as PM, to find a way out of the crisis. Two major issues dominate the talks, according to FRANCE 24s James André : the budget and the situation in New Caledonia. Meanwhile, President Macron seems to be delaying the inevitable as opposition parties call for his resignation or snap elections.
