Israeli police on Sunday reported an “impact” near the country’s main international airport after the army said it had attempted to intercept a missile launched from Yemen – an attack that briefly halted air traffic and triggered threats of retaliation. Yemen’s Houthis claimed responsibility for the strike, the group’s military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement.
