Musical Chairs Inside the White House Press Room

This week, President Trump signed an executive order entitled “Ending Taxpayer Subsidisation of Biased Media”, threatening to cut federal funding to NPR and PBS. Both organisations plan to challenge the move in court, while Trump has labelled them “radical left monsters”. As we mark 100 days of his presidency, the White House Press Room is also changing — with new right-wing media voices, including correspondent Natalie Winters, now in the mix.
