Trump orders reopening of the notorious Alcatraz prison

President Donald Trump said Sunday he is directing the government to reopen and expand Alcatraz, the infamous former prison off San Francisco, closed since 1963. On Truth Social, he blamed “vicious, repeat offenders” for causing “misery and suffering,” vowing to restore the island facility.
