A handful of orchestral concerts celebrating the music of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have been confirmed to take place next year.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released earlier this year and continues the story of unlikely hero Henry in early 15th century Bohemia. The follow-up to 2018’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance sold over one million units on its first day and after three months, more than three million copies had been sold.
Last month, an orchestral concert celebrating Jan Valta’s impressive score took place at Prague’s O2 Universum. Valta was joined by a number of singers and the Brno Philharmonic to perform a selection of tracks from the game, accompanied by scenes from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Developers Warhorse have now confirmed more Kingdom Come: Deliverance concerts will take place next year.
The first confirmed gig will take place in Frankfurt and celebrate the one-year anniversary of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 while ‘The Symphony Of The Sword’ concert will take place in Poland a few days later as part of the Game Music Festival and feature music from both Kingdom Come: Deliverance games. “Composer Jan Valta will personally conduct this orchestral masterpiece. On stage, he will be joined by the renowned NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, as well as the Medici Cantantes choir. The band Veratus, specialising in the performance of early music, will also add their flavor to this concert,” reads the official listing.
“The best of both games at the same concert. What a birthday gift for me,” added Valta on X.

Jan Valta created over ten hours of original music for the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 soundtrack, taking influence from classic film and game scores, as well as medieval music and folk music from the Czech Republic and Bohemia.
“Although we are creating a story from the 15th century, we create it for a player in the 21st century. And if we think of music being a kind of a language (which I believe it is), we should talk to the player in the language he understands,” he explained in an interview with Magneticmag about combining historically accurate influences with more modern inspirations.
In other news, former Call Of Duty boss Glen Schofield says modern games just aren’t as good as the classics and he’s worried about the franchise’s future.
