‘Titanique’: Campy spin on Jack & Rose love story set to Celine Dion hits

If you’ve ever seen the movie Titanic, you’ll know that the theme song from the movie is Celine Dion’s “My Heart will Go On”. Now imagine, the whole story of Titanic – Jack, Rose, the Iceberg and the Heart of the Ocean diamond completely reimagined as a madcap, very camp spoof of the film – featuring all of Celine Dion’s greatest hits. Well, that’s the musical “Titanique” that’s on now at the Lido in Paris. Oliver Bales and Jessica Aubrey tell us what it’s like playing to a French audience.
