Debates on France’s state budget continued on Tuesday, with the health budget at the centre of discussions—a sensitive issue as the government seeks to make savings while maintaining access to healthcare. The executive remains in a precarious situation: without a majority in the National Assembly, it risks failing to pass the budget before the end of the year.
