Ultra-fast fashion giant Shein has opened its first physical store in Paris, in the historic BHV shopping centre. While dozens queued long before the shop’s doors opened, excited to start buying, dozens others gathered to protest against a brand considered to be a danger to the French industry, the environment and human rights. FRANCE 24’s James André reports from the scene and tells us more on France’s love/hate relationship with the brand.
