Kim Kardashian’s daughter has THOUGHTS on the overwhelming backlash against her pre-Halloween look.
Last month, the 12-year-old surprised fans with a punk new vibe — on her and Kim’s shared TikTok account, she revealed photos of herself and her friends dressed up with colored hair, colored contacts, and a plethora of fake face tattoos and piercings. See (below):
It was enough to rile up trolls who accused Kim of allowing the tween to dress mature beyond her 12 years, but the SKIMS founder defended her daughter with one single reply to a hater’s comment… “this is such a non-issue.”
Except, she just revealed it was actually NORTH who wrote that!

During an interview with All’s Fair co-star Niecy Nash for Complex‘s GOAT Talk, the 45-year-old reminded fans the only way North can access the joint TikTok account and see all the hate comments is through her own personal device. So one day, North took her phone and was reviewing what everyone had to say about her look online, and was genuinely shocked at the reaction… so she dropped the response everyone thought was Kim:
“She was like, ‘I don’t get it? It’s a Halloween costume, it’s all fake.’ So she takes my phone and she writes back to a comment, ‘This is such a non-issue.’”
OMG! North with the clapbacks! The reality TV star continued:
“And then online, it was like, ‘Kim defends North to the end on this look.’ That’s a good clapback.”
HA!
While Kim didn’t offer her own thoughts on her daughter’s Halloween look, she did describe the tween’s vision:
“Her and her girlfriends, they love doing costumes, they love doing looks. It’s Halloween season, so they put on fake tattoos on their face, fake piercings. They all had their colored hair. They looked like an opium Powerpuff Girls. [That’s] what they were going for.”
