Boogie Nights is being released on 4K UHD for the first time.
The 1997 Paul Thomas Anderson film which stars Mark Wahlberg, Julianne Moore and Heather Graham, is set to come out on 4K UHD, 4K UHD Steelbook, and digitally on December 15.
The movie saw Wahlberg star as aspiring porn actor Dirk Diggler. After being discovered by director Jack Horner, played by Burt Reynolds, Eddie Adams (Wahlberg) reinvents himself as adult film actor Diggler and joins a stable of porn stars including Heather Graham’s Rollergirl and Julianne Moore’s Amber Waves.
Along with the film, the release is also set to feature additional scenes along with commentary from Anderson, Wahlberg, Don Cheadle, Heather Graham, Luis Guzman, William H. Macy, Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly and Melora Walters.

Wahlberg previously joked that he hopes God can forgive him for appearing in Boogie Nights.
“I just always hope that God is a movie fan and also forgiving, because I’ve made some poor choices in my past,” the actor previously said. “Boogie Nights is up there at the top of the list.”
Elsewhere, co-star Heather Graham recently spoke out about her relationship with her parents, and cutting ties with them once her career took off.
Graham grew up in the Santa Monica mountains north of Los Angeles. Her father worked for the FBI, and her mother was a teacher before going on to write children’s books. Her younger sister is also now an actor and director. The star cut all contact with them in her mid-20s.
She said: “My father’s really religious, and they were, especially my father, very critical of everything I was doing.
“It didn’t feel like a healthy dynamic. I stopped talking to them and, I have to say, that was a huge relief. I felt like, at that moment, my life opened up with a freedom. I didn’t need to please them.”
Speaking about her family’s attempts to contact her over the years, Graham added: “There was an effort made, but it was always very judgmental like: ‘Let me give you the number of the priest and you can go to confession.’ I just think we’re really different. They have a lot of great qualities – it’s just not a healthy dynamic for me.”
