A fire tore through the COP30 summit venue in Brazil on Thursday, burning part of the roof and forcing a panicked evacuation as talks entered a critical phase. The blaze hit pavilions at the Belem site, the third major incident after Indigenous protesters stormed and later blockaded the venue.
