A romantic getaway goes terribly, terribly wrong in Oh, Hi!, which premiered at 2025’s Sundance Film Festival.
Written and directed by Sophie Brooks, this dark comedy stars Molly Gordon (Theater Camp) as Iris, a young woman who’s found her dream guy in Isaac (Logan Lerman). The pair embark on their first trip together, heading to a gorgeous lakeside cottage. However, their milestone vacation quickly becomes Iris’ nightmare when Isaac tells her he’s not actually looking for a relationship — even though she fully thought they were a couple.
As the trailer for Oh, Hi! reveals, Iris and Isaac have this conversation mid-sex, while Isaac is handcuffed to the bed. As Iris spirals about being stuck in a dreaded situationship, she decides to take the rest of the weekend to prove to Isaac that they should be an official couple. The catch? She’s going to keep him handcuffed so that he can’t leave her. Think of it as Stephen King’s Misery for the modern dating era.
