Seriously, is Alice Evans going to be OK??
The Vampire Diaries alum shocked the world a couple years ago with her emotional reveal on social media that Ioan Gruffudd — the actor known for Titanic and Marvel‘s first attempt at Fantastic Four — had abandoned her and their young daughters to go be with another woman. The drama that unfolded over the next year or so was among the messiest divorce drama we’ve ever seen. We just felt so bad for Alice through all this — imagine thinking your marriage is fine, and suddenly your guy met a girl 20 years younger at work and just said see ya never! After you gave up your own acting career to raise your two daughters — meaning now you’re in financial disaster, too! How could it get worse, right?
Well, it’s worse.
Ioan and his much younger girlfriend Bianca Wallace surprised fans two months ago by suddenly getting married after over three years of dating (the timeline is a little fuzzy just how long they’ve been together, if you catch our meaning). They shared the news with a video of their tiny, private, quickie ceremony, captioned:
“Marriage now, wedding later”
A May-December wedding in April. K. But why the elopement — why “wedding later”? We didn’t know then, but we have a pretty good idea now. So it wouldn’t be a wedding of the shotgun variety! Bianca is PREGNANT!

That’s right, according to Alice this man wants very little to do with his 15- and 11-year-old daughters and will go weeks without even speaking to them. But now he’s going to have another kid with his new wife.
Once again, the happy couple shared the news in a joint announcement — which showed off Bianca’s already sizable bump:
Damn. This is harsh news to deliver. And on Father’s Day! We wonder if this is how Alice and the girls are finding out! An insider told The Sun they think that’s exactly what’s happening — and if you thought she was mad before…
“Alice will be absolutely fuming over this. She’s made no secret of the fact she’s destitute looking after the two kids, so to have him rub how well he’s doing in her face is a real gut-punch. For Ioan to not only break the news like that, but do it on Father’s Day… it’s yet another horribly upsetting saga for her to deal with.”
Indeed. This abandonment is the gift that keeps on taking for poor Alice.
