Another royal event, another chance for Prince Louis to show off his antics! But this time Mum took a firm hand with him!
On Saturday, the British royals gathered for Trooping the Colour and made their traditional appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for a photo op and to watch the Red Arrows fly over. The 7-year-old was on his best behavior at the event — a rarity for sightings like these — except for one moment that caused his mom to give him a firm demand!

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman told The Mirror that after the flyby, and as the festivities were wrapping up, Louis was beginning to get restless. He could be seen gazing down at the crowd and fidgeting until the Princess of Wales leaned down to her kids’ ears, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to issue a stern warning. The expert thinks she said:
“National anthem. Louis, stand.”
Louis straightened his poster immediately, mimicking his siblings’ poses, and focused on the music before eventually making his way inside the palace with his family. Watch the moment in question at the 25:15 mark (below):
We guess she must have told him in advance the one moment you have to be on your best behavior is the anthem. Makes sense!
Honestly, the fact this was the most childlike behavior from Louis shows just how fast he’s growing up! We miss his silly phase! LOLz!
