Calls for focus to shift back to Gaza hostages after Iran ceasefire

Israel’s opposition leader and the families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza called Tuesday for an end to the war in the Palestinian territory and for the focus to switch back to freeing the remaining captives after a ceasefire was announced with Iran. Of the 251 hostages seized by Palestinian militants in October 2023, 49 are still held in Gaza, including 27 the Israeli military says are dead.
