OMG. Brooklyn Beckham‘s tribute to Nicola Peltz‘s father is even more shady than we realized!
This week, the 26-year-old wished his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, a happy birthday in his Instagram Story, despite neglecting to celebrate his father’s b-day! This rift just keeps getting worse.
Well, it turns out that along with not liking their son’s wife, David and Victoria also aren’t big fans of their new billionaire in-law, who apparently made a big fuss at the couple’s 2022 wedding! So much drama went down at that ceremony!

According to a source spilling to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, Nelson caused a scene at the nuptials — over a bathroom! Hah!
Here’s the deal. Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot at the businessman’s million-dollar Florida mansion in a ceremony that was estimated to cost around $3 million. There were portable toilets set up in the marquees for the guests to use at the property — but one attendee reportedly went inside the mansion to use the loo, as they say over there!
Nelson is said to have had a huge outburst over the bathroom incident, which ticked off the guest. In general, the father of the bride was also incredibly controlling throughout the night (guess that runs in the family?), and all of his behavior combined rubbed the Beckhams the wrong way.
It’s believed that Brooklyn is aware of Nelson’s outburst — but even if he weren’t, he apparently knows things were never good between his parents and Nicola’s, so he wouldn’t be surprised. A friend of the Beckhams told the outlet:
“All of this is devastating. Sadly this was to be expected though, Brooklyn isn’t talking to his parents and instead he is very much making it clear that the Peltzes are his priority.”
That’s been clear for weeks now! The social media post is just the latest proof! The family friend guessed the hot sauce entrepreneur knew this would “hurt” his parents, adding:
“Of course this is heartbreaking for the family. The Beckhams blame this on Nicola, who they see as controlling their son. But he must have known how much this would hurt them. He was once so close to his parents they were inseparable but then Nicola came along and things changed.”
Referencing the wedding antics, the insider furthered:
“The whole Beckham family found Nelson utterly foul at the wedding. They didn’t particularly like him before but they really didn’t afterwards.”
“Utterly foul” is a perfect description considering this is centered on a lavatory! LOLz!
The pal said the soccer star and Spice Girls singer tried minding their own business at the party (well, when they weren’t causing their own chaos…):
“They were kind of in their corner having a lovely time and trying to enjoy their son’s big day but there was certainly an atmosphere. Brooklyn is obviously aware of the strained relations between his parents and Nelson. He knows they don’t like him very much. It all feels like Brooklyn and Nicola are rubbing David and Victoria’s faces in all of this.”
The amateur photographer certainly isn’t hiding his feelings these days!
