Russia’s Investigative Committee on Monday confirmed the death of former transport minister Roman Starovoyt in a Moscow suburb, just hours after being formally dismissed by President Vladimir Putin. Starovoyt was found dead with a gunshot wound and the principal hypothesis is that he took his own life, authorities said.
