The exes are fighting again!
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia fired back at her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan after he threw shade at her on social media! The latest drama between the former couple started when the country singer dropped a new track last week called River Washed Hair, which many fans speculated is about Brianna. Especially this part in the song in which he sings:
“Remember when we’d sit around an ol’ fire / And you’d get your guitar out to sing / We’d sing CCR, ‘Jersey Giant,’ ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ / Or anything by Bruce Springsteen / Back when ol’ Anna would throw her ol’ hands up / With her face framed by the fire / And I think I might pack a bag in the night / Find me some small town out west / Start over, find closure and just say ‘I’m sorry’ / To that sweet girl who tore off that dress.”

Most fans expected a song or two about her from Zach at some point, but we didn’t expect a somewhat positive one, not after how their breakup went down. But is it actually about Brianna? According to Zach, it is not. And he had a pretty harsh way of shutting down the speculation, too! His comment came when one social media user posted a video to TikTok with the song playing in the background and the text reading:
“did someone check on Bri lol”
@taydepadua I’m so conflicted ???? #zachbryan
He replied in the comments section (and later deleted):
“Lmfao I said ‘sweet’ this is not about whatever she has going on hahahahahaah.”
Jeez! Shady!
Brianna found out about the comment and, of course, didn’t appreciate it! She clapped back in the comments of another TikTok video about his remark, bringing up the alleged abuse she faced during their relationship:
“Lmao obviously he doesn’t think I’m sweet I turned down 12 million dollars to share my abuse while Rose [Madden] and Deb [Peifer] signed nda’s. Also fyi his songs aren’t about anyone he writes them drunk at 6am.”
Damn! She then added:
“Also his comment just made me feel very excited to share some videos and stories of him this week on BFFs. can’t wait to release the fire pit recording”
Oh tea! Unfortunately, Brianna did not spill anything on the new episode of the BFFs Podcast on Wednesday — except their takes about all the drama on Love Island and Jeff Bezos‘ wedding! But fingers crossed that she drops more receipts and stories in the future!
