Here’s a splurge-worthy deal that music lovers will cherish. The Soundboks Go, the younger and more portable sibling of the Soundboks 4, is down to $599 (originally $799). The $200 discount is the biggest one this speaker has seen, according to price tracking tools, making it a great time to splurge on a top-tier speaker.

In my review of the flagship Soundboks 4, I noted I was hesitant to blast it at its max 126 dBs while outdoors (mainly for fear of noise complaints, as I was in a park next to many residential homes)—and while I’m glad I did anyways, not everyone needs this much power. Enter the more affordable, more compact younger-sibling speaker.
The Soundboks Go is much more portable and almost as loud, with the same 40 hours of battery life. As you can read in my review of the Soundboks Go, you’ll get an impressive volume of 121 decibels in a small 20-pound speaker. It’s also rugged, with a splash and dust-proof IP65 rating. I took it to my local soccer field and was able to blast music for 22 players to enjoy throughout the rain, even taking a couple of tumbles from loose soccer balls.
The speaker is made for those who want an easy portable speaker that you can carry with a single hand but deals some serious damage while still sounding great. While it may lack many party tricks and features, it does the simple things extremely well.
