Carmen Andrade is officially a married woman! So what does it mean for her conjoined twin Lupita?
If you haven’t heard of the Andrade sisters, they’re conjoined twins who share all sorts of lifestyle vlogs on their Carmen and Lupita channel on YouTube. And in their most recent upload just last month, Carmen shared a major announcement! She and her boyfriend Daniel McCormack tied the knot back in October! While showing off her wedding ring, she revealed in the video:
“I should probably also address something, type of thing pretty big, I did get married.”
So amazing! But how does that work for Lupita? Well, she quickly chimed in to note:
“I did not.”

Daniel then quipped:
“Hi, I got an upgrade, I’m the husband now.”
He went on to reveal the ceremony was “a small get together” which included just the “local family.” Carmen added that it was a very “pretty” ceremony which she did not wear white for. But she wanted to make one thing clear:
“Before anybody gets it twisted, we [Daniel and I] got married, we [Daniel, Lupita, and I] did not get married.”
Lupita, clearly unimpressed, then hilariously threw up a middle finger before revealing her thoughts:
“I don’t want to get married because I don’t want to.”
You can hear them talk more about it (below):
Back in 2023, Lupita revealed to Today that she is asexual — meaning she’s not sexually attracted to others. She did, however, acknowledge how important a relationship is for her sister:
“I’m asexual, but I want Carmen to settle down. I know that’s important to her.”
Carmen revealed at the time that she met Daniel on a dating app:
“I met my boyfriend, Daniel, on Hinge in October 2020. I never tried to hide the fact that I’m a conjoined twin, which meant I got a lot of messages from guys with fetishes. I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition. I have social anxiety, and I’ve ended up canceling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there.”
On Lupita’s relationship with Daniel, she added:
“Daniel and my sister get along really well. It’s funny because I stay up later than Lupita, but when Daniel’s sleeps over, I fall asleep quickly — and he stays up talking with her.”
Awww, that’s great!
Carmen and Lupita are conjoined at the torso and share a reproductive system — and are unable to carry a child. Carmen told the outlet at the time:
“Both Daniel and I love kids, but we don’t want any of our own. I like being a dog mom! Lupita and I can’t get pregnant, we have endometriosis and we’re also on a hormone blocker that prevents us from menstruating.”
Well, we wish them many years of happiness!
