Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

If you’re in the market for a new sleek laptop, the Acer Swift 16 AI PC might be for you. It has a huge 16-inch 3K OLED screen, and supports Windows Copilot+ features thanks to Intel’s new AI focused chips. But even if you don’t care about the AI features (understandable, honestly), the sheer power of the Swift 16 makes it worth a look. The only problem with the Swift 16 was its price: At almost $1300, it was tough to recommend.

Best Buy’s sale (competing with Amazon Prime Day) has taken care of that issue. For these couple of days, it’s available at a $450 discount, bringing the price down to just $799. This is the lowest price that we’ve seen yet.

It’s about the performance, screen, and battery life

With a 16-inch screen, and an all-metal construction, this is a big boy. But you get a huge OLED screen with 2880 x 1800 resolution, and really good battery life. In PCMag’s battery tests, it lasted more than 20 hours, which means it easily provides all-day battery life.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor is well-suited for productivity tasks, and the built-in GPU is great for driving high-resolution displays, and some gaming. But don’t expect to use it as a gaming laptop, as it can’t beat ones with a dedicated GPU.

You get 1TB of fast SSD storage, and 16GB RAM, which is more than enough for most productivity tasks. It also comes with Windows 11 Home, plus Thunderbolt and USB-C ports.

PCMag gave the Acer Swift 16 AI an “Excellent” rating of four stars, noting that “the Swift 16 AI delivers much to admire, particularly its OLED touch screen and long battery life. Paired with its Intel Core Ultra 2 V-class CPU, this laptop is well-suited to casual entertainment and light content creation.”
