Hundreds of people poured onto the streets of Kabul on Wednesday night to celebrate the return of the internet across Afghanistan nearly two days after the Taliban shut down telecommunications, sparking closures of banks, businesses and airports, in addition to denying access to education sites for Afghan girls banned from schools.
