A new investigation is raising serious questions about the privacy promises of one of the world’s most popular messaging apps – Telegram. Despite its reputation as a secure, independent platform, a joint report by Important Stories and the OCCRP, reveals that key parts of Telegram’s infrastructure may be entangled with Russian intelligence interests. FRANCE 24’s Jean-Emile Jammine interviewed the author of the investigation and Important Stories founder, Roman Anin.
