France 24 correspondent Wassim Cornet reports from Anchorage, in Alaska, where US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are scheduled to hold a highly anticipated meeting on Friday to discuss the possibility of achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine. Although Trump reportedly promised Ukraine and its allies that he would push for an end to the conflict, he revealed on Thursday that he estimated there was a 25 percent chance the meeting would yield no meaningful progress.
