On Thursday (Aug. 21), a shimmery blue countdown on the pop star’s website ticked down to a 2 p.m. ET unveiling of a second alternate vinyl version of The Life of a Showgirl LP, Swift’s 12th studio album thats set to arrive on Oct. 3. Fans should also take note that they have just two days to get their hands on the new variant, with a disclaimer on Swift’s website emphasizing that it’s only available — while supplies last — for the next 48 hours.

The announcement comes just a couple of days after Swift dropped the first vinyl Showgirl variant, which was also available for just two days after a purple countdown heralded its arrival hours prior. Titled the “Shiny Bug Edition,” its exclusive cover featured the musician leaning against a wall, wearing a spiky, sparkly leotard and staring at the camera.

Clearly, countdowns are already becoming a quintessential part of the Life of a Showgirl rollout. The first one went live with an orange background on Swift’s site the day prior to the album announcement; in the final hours before the performer announced via a New Heights podcast teaser clip that her 12th LP was imminent, the timer changed to display a series of doors that matched some of the visuals on Swift’s global Eras Tour.

Also on New Heights — the full episode featuring Swift arrived Aug. 13 — the songwriter shared more details about Showgirl, including its main cover art and tracklist. Featuring production fro Max Martin and Shellback and a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track, the full-length is full of back-to-back “bangers,” according to Swift.

“[The album is] a lot more upbeat, and it’s a lot more fun pop excitement,” she said on the podcast. “My main goals were melodies that were so infectious, you’re almost angry at it.”
