Belgian actress Emilie Dequenne died Sunday at 43 from adrenocortical carcinoma, her family and agent told AFP. She rose to fame with Rosetta (1999), winning Cannes’ Best Actress and the Palme d’Or for the Dardenne brothers’ film. Dequenne disclosed her diagnosis in October 2023.
