Bonkers bureaucracy? Foreigners struggle to obtain French residency papers

In this edition we take a look at the difficulties foreigners face in getting, or renewing, French residency papers. As 10 charities call on France’s highest court to force the government to fix regular problems on the French website for foreigners’ applications for “cartes de séjour”, we discuss the issues, the number of residency permits handed out last year and how other ministries want an increase of certain types of immigration.
