Boyzone have announced details of their biggest-ever headline show, which will take place at London Emirates Stadium next year. Find out more below.
Set for Saturday June 6, the gig will mark the biggest of the boy band’s career anywhere in the world, and mark their only performance scheduled for 2026.
Dubbed ‘One For The Road’, it will be held at the 44,000-capacity London Emirates Stadium and mark their first performance together since they held a five-night run at the London Palladium in 2019. It also follows on from them sharing their acclaimed documentary Boyzone: No Matter What earlier this year.
At the gig, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch will break out fan-favourites including precious chart-toppers ‘Words’, ‘A Different Beat’, ‘All That I Need’, ‘No Matter What’, and ‘When The Going Gets Tough’, and pay tribute to late bandmate Stephen Gately, who died in 2009, aged 33.
“We’ve been truly blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this year,” the band said in a new statement. “The love we’ve felt from fans all over the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience together, headlining our own stadium show. The four of us can’t wait to stand together again and enjoy ‘One For The Road’.”
Tickets go on sale next Friday (October 10) from 9am, and pre-sale options will be available from next Tuesday (October 7). Visit here for tickets and more information.
As aforementioned, the announcement of the new, one-off show arrives on the heels of the group sharing their documentary series. It gave fans an exclusive insight into the group through new interviews, in which the members shared their personal experiences and documented the highs and lows of fame.
Since forming in 1993, Boyzone went on to secure 17 consecutive UK Top 10 hits, they also took home four BRIT Awards throughout their time together, as well as an Ivor Novello for Best Song for ‘Picture Of You’.
Louis Walsh managed them until their split in 2000 and oversaw Keating’s solo career too. The band reformed in 2007 with Walsh as manager, and shared their chart-topping comeback album ‘Brother’ in 2010. They cut ties with Walsh permanently in 2018.
