A Real Housewife is rubbing salt in the very fresh wound for Denise Richards…
As you most likely know, the actress is getting divorced again. Her husband, Aaron Phypers, filed in Los Angeles on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. The news came as a shock to many fans. Even Denise did not see the breakup coming and felt “utterly betrayed” by Aaron, as the couple both agreed divorce was not an option for them. It did not matter if they absolutely “hated” each other; they were staying together till death do them part, or so she thought!
However, one person was not stunned by the divorce news whatsoever — Denise’s former co-star/alleged lover, Brandi Glanville! A source revealed to OK! on Tuesday that the Bravo personality “has a soft spot for Denise and was saddened to hear” Aaron dumped her, but she was “not surprised” by the outcome either. Why? To understand, let’s backtrack for a minute because Brandi and Denise have an extremely messy history together!

RHOBH fans will recall that Brandi spent all of Season 10 swearing up and down that she had an alleged affair with Denise! The tryst allegedly started only 10 days after the Wild Things star married Aaron in 2018! Whoa! The Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast host claimed Denise had an open relationship and had threesomes with Aaron and other women. However, when the co-stars hooked up, the Starship Troopers star was allegedly concerned about her then-hubby finding out.
Denise denied everything, insisting she never slept with Brandi. But to this day, the former model sticks by her story. Because of Denise and Aaron’s alleged dynamic, as well as the affair drama, Brandi isn’t shocked that their marriage is now over! The OK! source explained:
“Denise did her dirty and she still can sympathize, but, you know, the age-old adage when you’re [allegedly] bringing another person into your bed, they say the marriage is dead. Once that pineapple [allegedly] turns upside down, divorce is on the rise.”
Just to get a dig in, the insider noted that it also “doesn’t help when you start wearing jackets upside down to cocktail parties and bringing your own personal tequila.” OMG. Remember that whole scene on Season 13 of RHOBH? Denise was a mess, slurring her words, making weird expressions, picking fights, and more. Could anyone ever forget the faces she made at the party, though? They were bizarre enough to say the least…
Yikes…
To bring up that awkward AF moment, all is clearly not forgiven! It sounds like Brandi holds a grudge against Denise after the affair scandal! The source continued:
“Denise has been off for quite some time and the way she treated Brandi was brutal. She went after Brandi’s agent and got it. She went after Brandi’s job and got it. Brandi was demoted. Finally, she went after Brandi and, in the end, got her, too. Brandi was left being called a liar while Denise got a spinoff show. It truly is not fair. Andy [Cohen] sure seems to have his favorites.”
Whelp, the spinoff show most likely is not going anywhere after the shocking (to everyone but Brandi) breakup between Aaron and Denise! Brandi may have to deal with another season of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things! And, hopefully, fans will get the rundown on what the heck happened between the couple if it is renewed!
