Body camera footage has been released of Britney Spears‘ plane incident!
As we reported, back in May, Brit Brit got into some trouble on a private jet when she was flying back to LA following a vacation in Mexico. According to TMZ at the time, the Circus singer started drinking and then lit a cigarette mid-flight! Flight attendants were “alarmed” by the situation and asked her to stop smoking, which she did after being “difficult.” Oof!
The outlet also obtained a video (HERE) of her looking disheveled on the plane (with apparent sunscreen smeared on her arm) as she argued with a flight attendant, only raising concerns more about her state of mind during the ordeal!

The pop star later apologized for the incident and suggested it was all one big mix-up. She insisted someone told her she was allowed to smoke on the plane and accused the staff of just not liking her. Other than reportedly getting a talking-to after landing, the whole thing seemed to blow over. There were no serious repercussions. So… NBD?
Well, now we might know why! On Friday, TMZ obtained footage of Britney deplaning — and it was surprisingly drama-free. The clip comes from the body camera of an airport cop as he speaks to a Customs officer on the tarmac. The Customs officer had the situation under control by then — but revealed what he thinks went wrong:
“We get her all the time, today she obviously didn’t take her meds. She’s being very compliant; she’s very nice, so to me right now, it’s all good.”
Yeesh. It’s unclear if he knew that for a fact or if he was just guessing about the meds. Seems a little glib if we’re being honest — you know, for someone in thie position of authority. Just sayin’.
Anyway, Britney can then be seen strolling past the officers on her way home, and she actually seemed really calm, cool, and collected. She simply waves as she passes and doesn’t stop to chat. Still, the Customs officer instructs the cop to follow her to make sure she gets out without any more outbursts. Ch-ch-check it out:
Well, it’s refreshing to see Britney was so unbothered by then. Seems she understood what went wrong and was well enough to know not to make things worse!
