Cardinals gathered at the Vatican have announced that Pope Francis’ funeral will take place on Saturday at 10 am, following his death on Monday at the age of 88. They are also preparing for the conclave to elect his successor and to discuss other matters related to the governance of the Catholic Church, as world leaders and the faithful mourn the passing of the first Latin American pope in history.
