Cassie Ventura threatened to kill a man over a freak-off video years ago — and it was all captured on audio.
The shocking tape was submitted into evidence last month as part of the defense’s cross-examination of the 38-year-old singer amid Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial but only released to the public on Wednesday. On it, you can hear Cassie coming after an unidentified man in 2014 who allegedly had footage of one of the disgraced music mogul’s now-infamous freak-offs and refused to show her it. In a rage, she told him:
“I’m going to kill you, you don’t understand. I don’t give a f**k and I never killed anybody in my life but I will kill you. If you don’t show me right now I will kill you, and I will hide you and I will cut you up and put you in the f**king dirt. I’m gonna kill you and then [Diddy’s] gonna kill you.”

There is more to the story behind the audio, though. While on the stand, Cassie testified to the court that Diddy ordered her to accost the guy and make the recording. He allegedly told her “not to let the man out of her sight” since he was supposedly in possession of the explicit video. Cassie explained she “felt sick” over the possibility of the freak off tape being leaked and “felt like I had to handle the situation,” so she confronted him. But ultimately, Cassie said she was unable to get the man to show her the freak off tape.
For the defense, they argued the audio proved Cassie willingly participated in the freak-offs and was never exploited by Diddy. However, the Me & U artist insisted during the trial that was not the case. Cassie alleged her ex controlled every aspect of her life and felt like she could never refuse to partake in the sex acts as she didn’t want to disappoint him. Eventually, she feared how the rapper would react — whether through physical violence or the release of the tapes — if she ever turned him down.
