In the preview posted Wednesday (Sept. 3), Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi get hot and heavy while portraying Emily Bronte’s iconic novel characters Catherine and Heathcliff. Chests heave, fingers get put into other people’s mouths, and dresses get cut off with scissors in the visual, all while the British pop star’s Brat track “Everything Is Romantic” plays.

“I can follow you like a dog to the end of the world,” Elordi tells Robbie at one point, giving fans their first glimpses at the brooding intensity of their performances in the Valentine’s Day-slated adaptation.

On X, Charli shared the teaser and revealed that “Everything Is Romantic” won’t be the only song of hers to appear in the film. “new original songs by me for Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi,” she wrote. “in theatres february 14th. happy early valentines <3”

Wuthering Heights is just the latest film project Charli has worked on since having a breakout year in 2024 with the success of her Billboard 200 No. 3 album Brat. In addition to starring in Prime Video’s Overcompensating earlier this year, the musician appears in the films Erupcja and 100 Nights of Hero.

“I’m enjoying learning about being on a set and learning from great directors and actors,” Charli told Variety in December. “I hate it when musicians dive into a different field head-first without really researching or learning much of anything about it. So I did a lot of reading to educate myself over the past three or four years before I actually did anything.”
