Charlize Theron has thoughts on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding.
The wedding of the year came and went over the weekend in Venice, Italy with an insanely star-studded guest list. But someone who WASN’T invited is speaking out… About how much she dislikes the newlyweds!
On Saturday, the Mad Max: Fury Road star hosted her fifth annual Block Party for her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on the Universal Studios backlot in El Lay, and RIPPED the Amazon founder and his new bride. According to the Hollywood Reporter, while speaking to her guests, the Atomic Blonde star quipped:
“I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that’s OK because they suck and we’re cool.”
HA! Telling it like it is!!

The philanthropist went on to thank guests for “taking the time to be a part of this, especially when the world feels like it’s burning because it is.” She added:
“Here in Los Angeles, in the US and across the globe, we’re moving backwards fast. Immigration policy has destroyed the lives of families, not criminals; women’s rights are becoming less and less every day; queer and trans lives are increasingly being erased; and gender-based violence is on the rise. This isn’t just policy, it’s personal.”
All the while Jeff and Lauren enjoyed a $50 MILLION wedding… Yikes.
The crowd erupted into applause and in a dig at the powers at be, the 49-year-old remarked, “Yeah, f**k them.”
